Batch-import chapters without chaos
Chapters are easier to manage when you treat each batch as a mini release with its own review gate.
Multiple chapter uploads stay organized: each batch has naming, tags, and a review gate so duplicates and chaos do not compound across the semester.
How to do it
Work through one batch at a time. Finish review before you upload the next set of pages.
-
Name each import job by chapter or week before uploading files.
-
Finish review and approval for batch N before uploading batch N+1.
-
Use consistent tags across batches so cross-chapter duplicates are visible in review.
-
When similar cards appear in two chapters, merge or reject instead of keeping both.
-
Export or study approved batches on a rhythm—weekly or per unit—not all at once at exam time.
-
Archive rejected captures so you do not accidentally re-import the same pages.
Quick check before you approve
- Each batch has a clear tag prefix or deck target before approval.
- Cross-batch duplicate search happens at least once per unit.
- New-card additions per week match your review capacity.
When something goes wrong
Lost track of batches
pause uploads and clear the oldest unreviewed job first.
Duplicate chapters
pick the better card version and suspend the other during review.
Tag sprawl
collapse to two filters you use daily, migrate old tags gradually.
